School History:
Janie Darr Elementary was named in honor of superintendent Janie Darr. In her more than 35 years with the Rogers School District, Dr. Janie Darr was an English teacher, a counselor, and an assistant and deputy superintendent. She led the Rogers schools during a time of numerous changes associated with rapid growth, increased diversity and intense accountability. She is known for her commitment to children and doing whatever it takes to help them reach their potential.
